"he starts to look like a boy".
He still does not sleep more than 2-3hrs at a time, but as I said before, I just need to accumlate the hours. Last couple days, I nursed him to sleep around 9pm and went to bed with him. Nobuhiro usually comes a bit later. I feed him several times during the night, and then Nobuhiro gets up around 5am, when Silvan wakes up, feeds and is just up. I get to sleep until the next feeding around 7am.
Fussy times can be a bit tough, but usually he either wants to nurse, needs a diaper change, or he wants to be held, carried, walked, rocked, and entertained or his reflux is making him uncomfortable. So far so good.
We made a cheap ring sling, from two slingrings (~$2) and an old bed linen from ikea (~$5). It is so easy to just pop him in. For longer walks, I prefer the beco or our didymos tragetruch (wrap). And he really likes it and usually calms down quickly. Just a bit like in this video:

And Nobuhiro brought home a little Christmas tree for us! The top is a bit tilted, but I kinda like it :)
We started gathering presents around the tree. It was kind of fun to pick presents for our little guy, following the rule of
"something he wants, something he needs, something to wear and something to read". I kind of like this Victorian rule.
Another rule, I had heard about and also liked, goes like this: A Gold Gift, a Frankinscence Gift and a Myrrh gift. Just what the three wise men brought to Jesus.
The Gold gift is something that is precious to the child (e.g. a toy)
A Frankinscence Gift is something for the spiritual development of the child since frankinscence was used in worship (e.g. a book, a journal, some music)
A Myrrh Gift is something for the body since this was a lotion (a sweater, robe, etc.)
