Cooking

I have meaning to take a note for those two recipes, and keep forgetting, so now, they go on the blog :-)

1) Napa Cabbage Salad with Buttermilk Dressing

Very quick, cheap and easy.

1/2cup buttermilk
2 T olive oil (or mayonnaise)
2T apple cider vinegar
1/4t salt and pepper
1 T sugar
6 spring onions ( or 3 T chives and 2 T minced shallots)
4 cups napa cabbage thinly sliced and cored
6 radishes diced (optional)

Mix everything up to the sugar together, toss with the napa cabbage, radishes and spring onions.

And yesterday we finally had our delmonico steak from our farmshare - it was soo yammy:

2. 1'' steak:

steak
butter
salt and pepper

0. Salt and pepper the steak on both sides (I used smoked black pepper freshly ground)
1. Heat gridle on medium-high heat.
2. Butter the griddle with 3-4 T butter.
3. Add steak to pan and press down. Wait 1min 45sec.
4. Turn steak 90deg, press down. Wait 2min.
5. Turn steak on the other side, repeat 3 and 4.
6. Eat.
