raptor show

A local library hosted a raptor talk presented by the Audubon Society and of course we had to go. The educator brought a female American kestrel and a very small, but full grown male Great Horned Owl. The kestrel is the smallest and most colorful North American raptor, although an elf owl might be smaller. The female is bigger, as it is typical for raptors, the male is more colorful. The great horn owl only has one big, as it was injured in a car collision.
