Busy times

Just some December updates:

Silvan got a Kazoo for St.Nikolaus and was a happy (and dirty) child :)

Silvan had another Streptococci infection. And again his fever shot up well over 41.6C (the thermometer just raid "h" for hot). That was pretty scary - he just was so lethargic and non-responsive even when we stripped him down and put him in a lukewarm bath. So, we spent Saturday night at the ER and he was checked through. Besides tons of earwax the doctors also thought about a strept throat, which was confirmed the next day and we got antibiotics. He lost quite a bit of weight, he refused to eat for more than a week.

He is doing so much better now, he's eating again, the fever is gone and he's back in daycare. He loves his clementines and oranges (and chocolate muffins).
He uses sign language and did his first "2word sign" : "nose all gone". We have a little iceman, and it's nose is missing. And "tree lights" for Christmas tree. He also says "hi" (japanese for fire) or maybe "heiss" plus the sign for hot/fire. Anything that's uncomfortable to the touch is "hot", i.e. somethingsharp, cold, is also hot. We love the little guy.

Here is a photo of him signing "more" and because mama just kept taking more photos instead of handing over the camera, he made he got a bit more clear about what he wanted:

We are all looking forward to Christmas Eve and a relaxing weekend.
