And yet another month has past! Silvan is now 77.5cm tall and weighs 9.4kg. Reading books, dancing to music, pushing buttons, hiding mama's socks, howling like a St.Bernard Dog, playing with duplos, sorting things (e.g. carrots and onions), putting up laundry, putting on necklaces, scarfs and handbags, visiting the library, and frowning are all favorite activities of this constantly moving toddler.


His vocabulary has expanded quite a bit since last month. His pronunciation is still so that only we understand him, plus the other kids just don't speak German or Japanese and won't understand when he says "heiss" or "douzo", but there are some English words in the mix as well ("eye") and he is learning new signs (bear, cold, hat, mouse) as well; we are starting to loose track of the count, and some come and go, depending how often we use them. And if everything fails grunting, pointing and pulling on mama still work as well.
