Crafts and Arts

It's still winter here. After all the crazy January snow some of it melted, but there is still plenty around. And when the wind from the ocean blows hard and the temperatures are once again around -10C we hide inside. To fight the cabin fever, we put up an easel for Silvan and he draws a bit, or asks us to draw something. Music is good, too, and he knows now how to turn the music down (making "shhhh" with his finger). Last Sunday we went to RISD Museum. Sunday mornings are "pay as you like" days, so we spent a dollar and spent 2hrs looking at painting, and running around. There were so many families and kids around, and nobody minded when Silvan was squealed while pressing buttons in the modern exhibits, or ran across the hallways.

And sometimes he is just conked out after all the fun and playing and running around.

To keep his tootsies warm he had bought wool socks earlier this winter, but they were pretty slipper. 3D Fabric paint solved that problem.

All in all we are doing well.
