Birthday

And another year older. After a cozy breakfast, we went to the RI Flower and Garden show. The largest show of this kind in RI. It was kind of disappointing, very commercialized and impossible garden solutions with plants that would never grow around here, or in such a setting, or that would never bloom at the same time. Plus the garden part was only a quarter, the rest where vendors selling all kinds of things, and only 60% of them were garden related...

At least some things were interesting - like the fashion and flower show, the bunnies, a cool slide for children, a gigantic sandcastle, and we learned about bug eating plants in RI.


Afterwards we had some burgers at the trinity pub. Silvan was exhausted after all the walking and running around and we had time to enjoy a good movie at home. Overall it was a good day.
