Father's Day

The next day was Father's Day and we went to Olga's for breakfast. There is a cute outside dining in a little garden, where Silvan can walk and explore while we enjoy our meal. Afterwards we headed to Arcadia and watched the mating sunfish, discovered some Indian pipes, complained about rocks in the sandals, climbed over rocks, and enjoyed the shade in the woods.

Dancing and singing on a bench in the woods is so much fun.

Music is always a good way to get through the day - starting the day dancing and singing to the Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride , brushing teeth with Dr.Knabbel, listing to the rooster on Nena's Kinderlieder CD, walking on walls with "der kleinen Wanze", jumping in puddles singing "ame ame" (rain rain), dancing the chicken song (Ententanz), listening and singing the tomatoesong (ton-ton-tomatochan), and going to bed with Japanese lullabies and melodies, and so many more songs. Silvan sings along (hums a melody, sings "lalala" or "rock-rock-rock") and turns and dances while clapping and moving his arms.
