Phew...

What a week. We got a drunken call from our landlord on Monday night at 9.30pm, where he threatened to throw us out on the street; he got pretty nasty for no obvious reason. Thank goodness there are state laws and the law is on our side. Phew. We will still be moving. After feverishly spending beginning June trying to find a place that would allow us to rent for less than a year, we finally found a small place in Bristol. That means we'll need storage somewhere, but Silvan can stay in his daycare. Yeah! We will be moving end of July, the landlord there lives in the main house and we will be in the tiny guest house. It is not lead-safe certified, but we should be fine, as long as we keep cleaning and keep our iron levels up.

Tuesday our little honda did his last drive after just gotten his annual checkup (worth $500). A tube in the cooler burst; we had cooler fluid in the transmission and transmission fluid in the cooler - every thing was filled with orange goop. This does not typically problem for a honda, but it did happen to ours. We can now flush the system, which could give us another week to a month lifetime (~$500), or we could replace the transmission with a used one (~1500-2000 plus labor), but that does not seem worthwhile either; we'll probably junk the car and see if we can get some cash for parts; in the mean time we'll try to live with one car. At least we'll be saving taxes and insurance this way.

The good thing - the week is not yet over and it can only get better :)  We'll be camping this weekend at the ocean and will be out of the touch - a deserved break for all of us.

Anyways, it was hot again and emotions were flying high: the time difference between the sad/angry photos (I don't like water in my face, nor my hair, and don't come near my neck either) and the happily playing photos was 7sec!
Silvan loves drawing, and is now painting things for us, too. Although without an explanation it is not clear what it is. Here he was drawing a cho-cho (butterfly) and of course a traktor.
