Deadlines

While daddy had to work to meet a deadline, Silvan and I went to see some blackbirds - he's getting really good in identifying different birds around our home, such as cardinals, crows, seagulls, robins, blue jays, starlings, sparrows, morning doves; but we hadn't seen any (red-winged) black birds from his bird book. Luckily I knew from last year where they were nesting. Silvan and I went the marshes and we indeed found some blackbirds. And a beaver, and a pheasant. And we also ran across some trolls, which Silvan protected me from ("Ich erschreck trolle for dich" - I scared the trolls away for you.) Did I mention that knights, swords, spears are another big topic around the house?

And because of Easter, we've been reading the story of Jesus and how he came to Jerusalem. Which he then likes to comment with "I like Jesus. And trolls."
