Anniversary

The original plan was to go hiking and then swimming in a pond. But 3 of us got really cranky in the summer heat in the car - it's been one of the hottest summers ever on record and we don't have any of the modern day comforts such as an AC in the car. We stopped at the next mall, cooled down with some juice and iced tea and then went to a beach, where a biologist collected tropical fish that a nearing storm was bringing from the south - the blow-fish in the green bucket is one of them, there are also some pipefish in the bucket. We had fun collecting the fish and swimming in the bay.

For dinner we got some fresh lobster, corn and potatoes. A good and easy New England dinner; we made it home just before the rain and storm drenched our laundry.
