Hatsuhinode

Luckily, we did not have to go far to watch a great sunrise - Mit's Point is a narrow point facing south with both spectacular sunrises and sunsets. I was surprised to see the fisher boats out there from Galilee. It was a cold morning.

We made our New Year wishes some smaller some bigger (guess who wants to run as fast as a cheetah next year?)

At home we enjoyed a breakfast of carmalized almond- french toast, glazed bacon, and some RI coffee milk with a good friend.

The animals greet the New Year.

And the sabertooth tigers - Silvan's Christmas (now fulfilled) wish! Since his Birthday he had been asking for them, even writing letters to the Christkind (Liebes Christkind, ich wuensche mir einen Saebelzahntieger fuer Weihnachten. Ich brauchse sonst nichts, auch kein blaues Auto. Liebe Gruesse, Deine Silvan. - Dear Christkind, I wish for a sabertoothtiger for Christmas. I don't need anything else, not even a blue car. Best, Silvan) - Welches Christkind kann da schon widerstehen?
