A busy day

We've got three Adventskalender this year - one chocolate from Opa with the Erzgebirge-angels, one with pictures and the two brother's are sharing another one with wood figures, every morning will be another figure (or two) so we have our own toy-nativity. It started with the donkey, than a sheep and today two little boys (Silvan and Nogusa, in their current favorite outfits); I am still waiting for the larger blank peg dolls to arrive so I can start painting Mary, Joseph, shepherds and angels.

We made Vanillekipferl following Oma Ernie's recipe. Silvan rolled 76 balls, each 10g (+/- 1g); yes, we put every single one on the scale.
 Counting.
 HIs peg figures are watching:
And they are now everywhere he goes
It was another random warm fall day -and the boys played in the puddle

Some water coloring (Nogusa undressed himself).
Silvan painted colorful pipes, so Silvan's peg dolls can have warm and cold water in their home. Once the picture dried he turned a box into a home with bed, blanket, fire pit, hay for the animals and of course the pipes.
That night we went to visit friends and their christmas tree.
