It was a really busy day preparing for Easter. My Easter bouquet with the painted eggs and the pussy willow had been out for quite a while, but there were other things, that I had to do the day before Easter.
For instance coloring eggs - we used rubber bands for pattern and onion skins for red color, beat for purple, spinach for green, cellery seeds for yellow, blueberries for blue-gray and some Southamerican spice for orange:
The eggs were boiling on the stove for at least 15min.
And then I made some sweet yeast bread and some other Easter bread for the next morning... But more of our Easter Day later.
