He does spent quite a bit of time in the rice bin, listening to the sound the rice makes when drizzled on the metal, plastic or paper cup; scooping the rice with different spoons, digging for his "ruby" or just throwing it around. When he's in his leaf bin, he through the leaves out and is happy as well.
Another favorite activity is reading books - he has a couple favorite ones, that he pulls from the shelf and then brings to Nobuhiro, me or the teachers at daycare. He then parks himself on our laps, and we read:
Last weekend, the stores in town were open for a pre-Halloween walkabout and Silvan had a lot of fun with iron man, a purple balloon and just running all over the place.
