Hoboken, NJ

We left for my conference Monday morning and arrived in Hoboken, NJ. The view from the hotel was really cool with the skyline of Manhattan right across the river. It was so easy (and quick) to hop across the river, that we decided to go to the MOMA, we did enjoy the design section a lot with cool chandeliers made from silverware and porcelain, very creative and pretty solar panel curtains and other fun things. We also saw some of the other floors, but after 2hrs Silvan had enough of it:

And so we went to FAO Schwartz, where we played on the big Piano. It was so mild outside, that we had dinner at the Rockefeller center outside, visited the Lego store and Silvan fell asleep. He woke up at Time square to see the naked Cowboy, it is pretty different as a pedestrian area. In the pop tart store we was flirting with one of the clerks - it was a pretty good day:

The next day my meeting started at Stevens. It was a pretty interesting little campus, with a long tradition in marine engineering. Father and Son went to the Museum of Natural History - for almost 7hrs! The halls of biodiversity, the butterflies were very interesting and Silvan could play with his voice, run around the exhibitions and more.

The hall of dinosaurs was especially good for Silvan, because we could run around the displays, the dinosaurs were less impressive, though:

It's getting harder and harder to take an "in focus" shot of a constantly moving toddler :)
