Another rainy day

There was more rain today, but that did not stop us from going outside. We took the stroller to haul all the library books and spent sometime at the library. On the way back Silvan enjoyed every single puddle.



On another note: we decided to change day cares. We just weren't really happy there. There are multiple reasons and we hope the next place will be better, it is a bit closer, he would be with older and younger kids, and the teachers are more huggable.

We'll see. After having talked to some parents, it is apparently not that uncommon to change day care a couple of times until one has found one that matches child and teacher.

One lesson I learned is, that it does not matter so much what the director says or their parent handbook; more important is the specific teacher that Silvan will have.

Anyhow, tomorrow is Veteran's Day for Massachusetts, and I decided to take at least half the day off, just for myself - the child will be in daycare and the husband will be working. And me? I'll be out and about for a couple of hours, just by myself, and without feeling guilty of not working; hey, I can always catch up later.
