For four days I got a chance to go to a fully paid conference for young women in physical oceanography at the start of their careers. Not only was the meeting excellent ( meeting great people, networking, learning, group mentoring and one-on-one mentoring sessions, gaining momentum and courage, receiving feedback on future plans, goals and ideas) - but the location was gorgeous as well, the weather held up and the food was excellent:
