And visited the Chinese Garden Lan Su in Portland. It was beautifully done with lots of attetion to the details. We got to see a lion dance and N was showing S the beautiful flowers (click on the photo to see the details).

We stayed in a very eclectic hotel in downtown Portland. It was all turquois-beige with chandeliers, daily chocolate muffins, fresh ice, water, and music for the downturn. The lobby was even more crazy. It was easy to reach with public transportation, which is free in the downtown area all the way to the convention center!

During the week - we went to talks and had our presentations and posters, S spent 2 days in day care, which went ok. Not his favorite thing, but we got some work done! And it was great for me, because I just went to feed him every so often. We tried getting him on a bottle, but no such luck, he really didn't take it.
