The weekend after Ocean Sciences

S looked so handsome in his "I love daddy" shirt and the bed was so cool. We had a good time. He started sitting upright - still not stable and a cushion around him is wise, but he moves back and forth, touches toes and leans back again - until he is too tired and falls on his nose.

The next Saturday we walked through the Japanese Garden - another pretty place, with gorgous views of Mt.Hood, yet the designers did not pay as much attention to the details as at Lan Su.


To get there we walked through Washington Park - so many flowers and trees and moss! It really is a very wet and rainy season- it was drizzling and raining all week during the conference.


We enjoyed yummy restaurants for N's birthday!
