One of these days we went to IKEA to buy more shelving. Both kids loved running around and exploring the store. On another day we went to the Boston zoo. Too bad we left the camera behind, we so (among other animals) Gorillas very close, the Lemur twin babies holding on to their mom, pygmy hippos, white and orange tigers and a snow leopard!
After reading more about vernal pools we went back to find some
fairy shrimp Our little aquarium is a full ecosystem with the
wood frog tadpoles, the
newt tadpoles , some
red worms , a dragonfly larvae, a few water mites and some little house building insects.
