Frozen Pond

After an early morning concentrated lego session we headed outside:

Our Pond is finally frozen solid enough to really play on it. With all the freeze-thaw cycles we have a strict - "no going on the pond without adults present"-rule, and I am sure it'll get too thin, and then thick enough again, but once the ice is frozen thick and solid we all have a blast.

We played soccer, hockey, iceskating, sang the ice cutter song from "frozen" (aka "frozen heart"), pretended to cut ice,  and walked across  the pond.

We spent hours playing on the pond. The frozen structures, bubbles and fractals were beautiful. The layer below the crack was at least 15cm deep.
