After a long trip - changing planes in Iceland, immigration in Boston (though they were so kind to us and let us skip the line with our two sleeping children), catching the Silverline and then commuter rail, picking up the car, we finally arrived back home. The next morning was Silvan's birthday. We had candles and breakfast and of course a cake - how can one turn 3 without having eaten cake?
Silvan has grown and learned so much during the last year, he is truly communicating in 3 languages, although he has a bit of a funny melody. He is also still very observant and gentle, but with some spunk. Dramatic Play is one of his favorite activities, asking questions until the answer is truly satisfying (reminds me of his dad). He loves his little brother and needs his cuddles, he loves to build things to he play with his animals (prisons for instance).
He's 90.5cm tall, weights 12.4kg and his head is 50.5cm in circumference.
The tiger family is now complete!
The new training chop sticks are so cool - Silvan loved them right away!
Nogusa loves to watch his older brother.
The new Pirate Playmobil set.
With firefighters and soldiers.
Hours and hours of fun playtime!
